DESTRUCTOR, CAGE To Guest On 'The Classic Metal Show'
October 7, 2007Dave Overkill of DESTRUCTOR and a member of California's CAGE will be the featured guests on next weekend's (October 13) edition of "The Classic Metal Show". The program airs live Saturdays between 9:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. EST at www.theclassicmetalshow.com.
DESTRUCTOR will release its new album, "Forever in Leather", on October 9 via Auburn Records. The release was pushed back slightly so the dates could be coordinated internationally with all the distributors.
Produced by BREAKER guitarist Don Depew, the album was recorded at Metro Sync and Noise Floor Studios in Cleveland, Ohio and was mastered by Mark Klein. Aaron "Pants" Sechrist designed the cover art and CD packaging graphics.
CAGE recently announced the addition of drummer Norm Leggio, formerly of the legendary prog-metal band PSYCHOTIC WALTZ, to the group's ranks.
Norm Leggio previously performed on all PSYCHOTIC WALTZ releases between 1986 and 1996. He also is the owner of San Diego, California all-metal record store Blue Meannie Records in El Cajon. In addition, he was the co-host of the metal radio show "Another State of Mind" on San Diego, California Clear Channel radio station Rock 105.3 FM for many years.
CAGE's latest CD, "Hell Destroyer", was released on May 18 in Western and Eastern Europe via MTM Music; May 22 in the USA and Canada via Destroy All Records Entertainment/BCD Music Group; May 18 in Mexico via Asenath Records/Iguana Records and May 21 in Central and South America via Dynamo Records.
